Health Care Aide Refresher

Is it time for you to return to active duty as a Health Care Aide?
The Health Care Aide Refresher Program is a 245 hour course for experienced Health Care Professionals who have not actively practiced in a Health Care Aide capacity in more than 3 years. The program includes 10 days of practical training at the end of the theory component.
Eligibility: to qualify for the HCA Refresher Program, you must:
- Have previously graduated from a recognized Health Care Aide Program in Canada. Must provide documentation as proof.
- Achieve a minimum level of “6” overall in Listening/Speaking, Reading and Writing on the Canadian Language Benchmarks Assessment (CLBA).
- Must demonstrate an appropriate attitude for the Health Care environment.
- Successfullly complete a Robertson College entrance test.
