Robertson College Edmonton is seeking a Student Admissions Coordinator.

The Student Admissions Coordinator is the preliminary contact and presents the first impression of the College to a prospective student demonstrating a professional approach through prompt contact, responses, and respectful interactions. The Student Admission Coordinator is a driven professional, with a friendly, energetic and positive outlook, strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant telephone voice, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.

Outbound calling efforts are a key component of this role as making a telephone connection with a prospective student often takes multiple attempts.

General Job Description

  • Spend the majority of their time making high volume, quality, outbound follow-up, and confirmation calls to prospective students.
  • Pursue leads and follow up on inquiries that come in via the College’s website or referrals
  • Book interview meetings between the prospective student and a Student Admissions Advisor
  • Participate in campaign strategies as proposed by management


  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in consultative sales, admissions recruiting, education or customer service/outbound contact center
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Experience working with internet-based communication tools
  • Strong telephone skills; prior experience with high volume calls is an asset
  • Will use company approved scripts and approaches during telephone calls, and the booking process and observe and adhere to all company polices and best practices and comply with related governmental regulations.
