Robertson College is seeking a Student Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This position offers the Student Admissions Coordinator the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students. The Admissions Coordinator is the preliminary contact and presents the first impression of the College to the student demonstrating a professional approach through prompt contact, responses, and respectful interactions. 

Job Duties Include

  • Making high volume, quality outbound phone calls / emails to leads and inquiries made via the web, email or telephone from potential students who are interested in knowing or receiving information about College programs, entrance requirements, etc. 
  • Booking interview meetings between the prospective student and a Career Counselor
  • Following up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview
  • Participating in campaign strategies as proposed by management 
  • Utilizing database tools to efficiently track each potential student interaction and the progress of all assigned leads
  • Achieving daily efficiency metrics as established by Management
  • Keeping current with the College’s course options and all / any changes to policies or procedures
  • Using Company approved guides and templates during lead contact and the appointment booking process

Qualifications

  • College degree in business or a related field and/or a combination of education and experience such as consultative sales, admissions recruiting, education or high volume outbound contact centre
  • Driven professional with a friendly, energetic and positive outlook, strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant telephone voice and ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
  • Competent in the use of MS Office as well as software packages and systems for data input and reporting
