Winnipeg Campus & Online Health Care Aide Challenge
The Health Care Aide Challenge Program is a condensed 12-week program for experienced Health Care Professionals. The program is
also offered on-line in a self paced format through iRobertson.
Eligibility: In order to qualify for the HCA Challenge Program, you must:
a) Have 1200 hours of experience in the last 24 months as an uncertified Health Care
Aide in Canada; or be a foreign-trained Nurse*
b) Proof of English language proficiency test: see Application Process below
c) Must provide a copy of recent resume
d) Robertson College employee form must be completed by your employer stating
hours and detailed current job description
Time: Tuesday evenings, 5:30-9:30 p.m. or at your desired schedule online
Class takes place one evening a week for 12 weeks. This includes practical and practicum experience to a maximum of 8 hours, which may be on weekends or at instructor’s discretion.
Location: Robertson College, 265 Notre Dame Ave, (Corner of Notre Dame Ave & King St).

If English is a first language
Interested individuals need to:
· Make an appointment to write an entrance test or provide documentation of high school diploma
· fill out an application form
If English is a second language Candidates must provide the college with one of the following:

A Canadian high school diploma
·
Proof of English language proficiency test (e.g. CLB, IELTS, TOEFL)
·
Take the Robertson College English Assessment

Candidates must also complete all of the requirements for the
“English is a first language”
as noted above.

sector search & up to date immunizations are required.
*Robertson College requires a copy of your degree. Not all foreign nursing programs are accepted. See your Career
