Robertson’s Online Health Unit Clerk program will give you the knowledge and stills to be a leader in any hospital ward. Our thorough approach to teaching provides our students with the best online career training possible and prepares them with the skills necessary to for success as Health Unit Clerks. What is a Health Unit Clerk?
Hospitals depend on trained Health Unit Clerks to help manage the day to day operations of their various wards. As a Health Unit Clerk, you are responsible for a variety of areas. When a patient is admitted or discharged, you process the necessary forms. When a test needs to be performed, you schedule it. In addition, Health Unit Clerks are typically in charge of several behind the scene tasks such as keeping the drug supply stocked, managing equipment, and relaying information between patients and staff.
