What is a Medical Laboratory Assistant?

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant you will run simple lab tests and handle specimens. You will run laboratory machinery, sterilize equipment, and collect and prepare specimen samples.

Employment can be found in hospitals, private and public health laboratories, clinics, research laboratories, commercial diagnostic supply companies, and with insurance companies.
