
Working as part of a team under the supervision of the Manager of
Patient Care or Charge Nurse, you will perform a variety of clerical tasks and act as the communication link
for the unit. You will perform a variety of tasks for the care and comfort of patients as well as routine
housekeeping tasks to maintain the cleanliness of your area.

- You will understand the role of the Nursing Assistant, gain computer skills in a Microsoft Office
environment, study anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, and practice patient chart transcription.
- Learn how toassist a patient with mobility, hygiene and develop effective communication skills.

- You will attain your CPR/First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and PHIA certifications
- Industry designed and supported Health Care Lab on campus.
