Robertson’s Calgary Travel Counsellor program will prepare you for a career of planning the perfect vacations and adventures that are rewarding and life changing. We believe that you can not prepare for real world experiences by just reading books and provide our students with a variety of hands on scenarios to enhance the learning experience. We keep our classes small at our Calgary campus to provide students a greater opportunity to participate in discussion, ask questions and really get to know their instructors and also be known by them. At Robertson College in Calgary every student is important.
At the end of your program, you will participate in a four week work practicum. Once your practicum has been completed, Robertson’s Career Services will work with you to ensure you find employment after you graduate. Whether it’s after grad or twenty-five years down the road, Robertson’s Career Services will be there to help you with your career.

What is a Travel Counsellor?
Travel Counsellors, Travel Consultants, Travel Agents, Airline Reservations and Tour Guides help people everywhere. They play an integral role in arranging hotel accommodations and package tours, advising on travel destinations, and providing the proper information on laws and regulations regarding international travel. Many opportunities exist across the country for this skill set.
Our Travel Counsellor program will teach you how to:
Skillfully assist people with accommodations
Effectively help people plan package tours
Provide creative planning and booking
Adequately provide information on destinations, such as attractions, culture and safety issues
Accurately advise people on travel laws and understanding legal and ethical responsibilities
