Robertson’s Veterinary Office Assistant program at our campus in Brandon will prepare you to start a career helping animals and making a positive impact on their lives. Our hands-on approach to teaching provides our students with the skills and experience to succeed. We know that you will learn better from real-world experiences rather than just reading it in a book. Our Brandon campus focuses on keeping classes small this enhances the learning experience by providing, class discussions and the opportunity for students to ask questions and get the answers.Our instructors have the time to get to know students and this reminds them that at Robertson they are an important individual.
At the end of your program, you will participate in a four-week work practicum. Once your practicum has been completed, Robertson’s Career Services will work with you to ensure you find employment after you graduate. What is a Veterinary Office Assistant?
Veterinary Office Assistants provide support to the veterinarian and animal health technicians. They play an integral role in the smooth operation of the veterinarian’s practice. Veterinary Office Assistants deal directly with clients to assess their needs, provide direction and answers questions, manage appointments, perform front desk operations and assist the veterinarian. Our Veterinary Office Assistant program will teach you how to:
