As our population continues to grow and age, there is a strong demand for trained health care professionals; especially those who are able to provide pharmacy-related assistance. In Canada, Pharmacy Technicians are a regulated health profession that is responsible for the preparation and release of prescriptions. Pharmacy Technicians also work alongside Pharmacists to promote health and wellness, disease prevention and chronic disease management.
