Do Calgary programs include a practicum, and where will I be placed?
Most diploma programs include a practicum, and Robertson places Calgary students with employer partners across the city's healthcare, community, and business sectors. The Workforce team helps you secure a training-related placement, and many partners use it as a route to hiring.
If I take a hybrid or online program, do I need to come to the Calgary campus?
Online programs can be completed without coming in. Hybrid programs pair online coursework with scheduled in-person sessions, so you'll use the Calgary labs and classrooms for hands-on work. Practicums take place at an employer site rather than on campus.
What do I need to apply to a program at the Calgary campus?
Each program sets its own admission requirements, listed on the individual program page. A Calgary advisor can confirm what you need and walk you through applying, and can help you compare programs if you're still deciding.
