Do Edmonton programs include a practicum, and where will I be placed?

All diploma programs include a practicum, and Robertson places Edmonton students with employer partners across the city's health, business, and technology sectors. The Workforce team helps you secure a training-related placement, and many employers use it as a hiring pipeline.

If I take a hybrid or online program, do I need to come to the downtown Edmonton campus?

Online programs can be completed without coming in. Hybrid programs combine online coursework with scheduled in-person sessions, so you'll be on site for hands-on labs and skills practice. Practicums happen at an employer site in the community rather than on campus.

What do I need to apply to a program at the Edmonton campus?

Each program sets its own admission requirements, listed on the individual program page, and an Edmonton advisor can confirm what you need and help you apply. If you're unsure which program fits, the advisor can help you explore options based on your background.
