Do programs at the Winnipeg campus include a practicum, and will I be placed locally?
Most diploma programs include a practicum, and Robertson works with a large number of practicum partners across Manitoba to place students in training-related roles. The Workforce team helps you find and prepare for a placement, and many employers use the practicum as a hiring pipeline.
If I enrol in an online or hybrid program, do I need to come to the Winnipeg campus?
Fully online programs can be completed without coming to campus. Hybrid programs combine online coursework with scheduled in-person sessions, so you'll be on site for hands-on labs and skills practice. Practicums happen at a host site in the community rather than at the campus itself.
What career support do I get, and how long does it last?
The Workforce team supports you with resume and cover letter help, interview prep, networking, and job leads with Winnipeg-area employers. That support is available for life, whether you graduated last week or years ago.
