Pharmacy Assistants play a critical role in a pharmacy.  

Not only do they help licensed Pharmacists and Technicians provide medication and healthcare products to patients, they also assist in the operation of the pharmacy.  Some of their responsibilities include:

  • Preparing prescribed medication including counting tablets and labeling bottles
  • Providing customer service and answering phone inquiries
  • Ensuring shelves are fully stocked
  • Operating cash registers
