2. How to Enter

2.1 Entry. Individuals who complete the online form with a valid first name, last name, email address, mailing address and phone number will receive entries in the Contest.

2.1 (a) Additional entries will be granted when an entrant refers another individual to enter the Contest, and that individual completes the Contest entry form. One (1) additional entry will be granted for each completed referral entry.

2.2 No purchase necessary. To enter the Contest, entrants must complete and submit the Contest entry form.

Entries must be received before the end of the Contest Period. All entries become the property of Robertson. Robertson is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of entrants.

2.3 Eligibility. The Contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada, and who have not previously attended Robertson. Employees of Robertson, their families, agency employees, and agency family members are not eligible to enter the Contest.

2.4 Individuals may only submit one(1) online entry under section 2.2 of these Official Contest Rules. Additional entries may be earned for each referral completed during the Contest Period, pursuant to section 2.1(a) of these Contest Rules.

3. Contest Draw

3.1 The winner will be selected from all entries received in a random draw conducted by Robertson representatives at 12 p.m. Central Standard Time in Winnipeg, MB on February 4, 2019. The first entry drawn for which the entrant satisfies the eligibility criteria will be eligible to win the prize. There is one (1) prize to be won from among all the eligible entrants received during the Contest Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. There will be no regional distribution of prizes.

4. Prize

4.1 The prize for the Contest consists of a tuition credit, up to $15,000, toward a full-time or part-time academic program leading to conferment of a diploma or certificate by Robertson (collectively, an “Academic Program”).

4.2 The prize may be redeemed at the discretion of the winner, who shall use the prize no later than December 1, 2019. To redeem the prize, the winner must have been accepted, confirmed Robertson’s offer of admission, and paid any applicable tuition deposits for the full-time or part-time Academic Program of the winner’s choice. If the winner does not use the prize prior to December 1, 2019, the winner shall forfeit the prize.

4.3 The prize must be used in a single academic year.

4.4 The prize must be used in respect of tuition fees applicable to the course requirements of a single Academic Program. If the winner wishes to transfer from one Academic Program to another, then the winner shall forfeit the portion of the prize that was to be applied to outstanding tuition fees.

4.5 The total value of the prize is not to exceed fifteen thousand Canadian dollars ($15,000.00). Therefore, the approximate retail value of the prize equals a maximum of $15,000.00. If prize dollars exceed tuition dollars, then the excess will be forfeited.

4.6 Any additional costs (including compulsory non-tuition related fees, parking or locker fees, recreational fees or fees associated with extended health benefits) and any applicable taxes associated with the prize and incurred by the winner are the sole responsibility of the winner and not the responsibility of Robertson.

4.7 The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternative or substitution of the prize is permitted except by Robertson at its sole discretion. Robertson reserves the right to substitute prize with other prizes of equal or greater value if the prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason.

4.8 Winners will be notified by telephone or email and will be required to sign a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release (collectively, the “Contest Documents”) within 10 business days of notification. Winners must also supply at least one piece of valid government-issued photo identification. If the selected entrant is under the age of majority, their parent/legal guardian will also be required to sign the Contest Documents. No response from email or phone notification after three attempts, return of email notification as undeliverable after three attempts, or failure to return the Contest Documents within the time specified by Robertson shall be determined as an unclaimed prize and will result in forfeit of the prize by the selected entrant. An alternate winner will be selected by Robertson.
