Robertson Summer Grant Program (the “Promotion”)

1. Promotion Period

1.1 The promotion period begins at 12:01 a.m. CST on July 16, 2019 and closes at 11:59 p.m. CST on September 30, 2019 (“Promotion Period”).

2. How to Enter

2.1 Entry. Individuals who start in class (Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg campuses) or online in one of the following seven (7) programs during the promotion period will qualify for the completion grant. Eligible programs are: Administrative Office Assistant (AOA), Accounting Technician (AT), Community Support Worker (CSW), Legal Assistant (LA), Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSC), Network Security Administrator (NSA) and Network Systems Technician (NST).

2.2 Eligibility. The Promotion is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada, and who have not previously attended Robertson. Employees of Robertson, their families, agency employees, and agency family members are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

3. Tuition Grant

3.1 For eligible students, a tuition grant of $1,000 will be applied to the total tuition upon successful completion of the academic program and paid directly to the person(s) / organization that provided the funds.

3.2 To be eligible students must have completed all coursework, practicum placements and exams and have graduated from the program. All fees to the college must be paid in full and all inventory (books, laptops or lab equipment) must be returned to the college.

4. General Rules

4.1 By participating in the Promotion, each entrant agrees to: (a) be bound by these Official Promotion Rules and the decisions of Robertson; and (b) release and hold harmless Robertson, and its Board of Governors, officers, employees, partner agencies and agents from and against any and all liabilities, losses, claims, demands, costs and expenses (including lawyer’s fees and litigation expenses on a solicitor and own client basis) whatsoever to which any of them may become subject arising from any actions or omissions by the entrant, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any claims arising from any alleged infringement or violation of any copyright, trade-mark, proprietary title or other intellectual property right.

4.2 The decisions of Robertson in relation to this Promotion will be final and binding on all entrants.

4.3 Robertson reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Promotion, at its sole discretion, at any time without prior notice.

4.4 Each Grant claim is subject to verification by Robertson and/or its designated representatives. Entries made with multiple addresses, under multiple identities, or through the use of any device or artifice to enter multiple times or entries that are in excess of the permitted number of entries during the Promotion period are automatically void. All Promotion entries obtained through unauthorized sources or which are incomplete, illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, irregular or fraudulent in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Promotion Rules are automatically void.

4.5 Robertson reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion; to be acting in violation of these Official Promotion Rules, or to be acting in an unfair or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.

4.6 The personal information provided to enter the Promotion is collected pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used by Robertson for the administration of the Promotion and related purposes. Personal information will only accessible by authorized Robertson employees and representatives, or as otherwise permitted by law. Robertson will not disclose personal information to an outside third party unless permitted by law.

4.7 By entering, entrants provide consent to receive future communications from Robertson for recruitment, informational and promotional purposes. 4.8 The Promotion is governed by all applicable laws of the province of Manitoba, the province of Alberta, the laws of Canada, as well as these rules.
